"My name is Ronald Nielsen and I consider it an honor to finally be able to with all good conscience, stand behind a Candidate. I have been active in political reform and Judicial reform in Idaho for many years and many of the politicians I've Interfaced with I wouldn't EVER endorse. In this election year ,by contrast ,there are many great candidates to choose from but in this segment I want to highlight Parrish Miller for District 21A. Over the years we have seen the transformation of the GOP platform to something resembling the Democratic platform and it would seem a merging of the two parties in Doctrine and Substance is inevitable. 'OLD' Republican party politics (Reagan Conservative-ism) seems to have all but disappeared in Favor of something representing rhetoric from 'The project for the New American Century' platform. This disturbing trend toward Fiscal Non-Conservative-ism and 'Nation building' in foreign American Occupied countries at the Federal level, has lead us down a slippery slope of Unsustainable Political compromise.
While it is True that the relationship between the Federal Government and the State Government has morphed Into one of Cooperation it needs to also be stated that the Intent was not for ABSOLUTE Cooperation but (According to The Constitution of the United States of America analysis and Interpretation as Originally published in 1938) was a relationship of 'Rivalry' first and foremost as a Bulwark against Federal over-reach. This 'Rivalry' has all but disappeared allowing the stronger entity to prevail. In this climate the only hope of salvaging the remnants of the Republican form of Government lies with the Character of those we elect. This is my reasoning for drafting this letter. Parrish Miller demonstrates (more than many other candidates and or Incumbents) an extremely workable knowledge of this dichotomy existent in the Unique American Political order. I have personally vetted Parrish on his Constitutional knowledge and find it adequate to the task at hand.
This DEEP understanding of foundational principles coupled with desire for a MODERN approach to Politics within the enumerated parameters, compels me to the task of promotion. Not only do I believe Parrish to have the Knowledge necessary for Government service, but also a Moral compass seemingly absent from the current political arena. Parrish's love of politics doesn't stem from a perception of 'acquisition' in terms of personal gain but from a DESIRE to salvage the disintegrating American Political system due to corruption, lack of knowledge, Greed, and many other Ills that plague the current political order. In Parrish we find a strong character of Fiscal conservatism, adherence to enumerated powers, State Rights, personal freedom, a vibrant State economy, and strong Family values that have always been the heart and soul of the American people. In this election I urge all Idahoans to vote for the candidate who represents these values. Across the board Parrish represents the values necessary in a candidate and I am more than happy to endorse Parrish Miller for District 21A Legislative seat. Thank you."
